Seaglass Wedding

Yes, this is admittedly my wedding. I’m a designer — I couldn’t help but go all out on my wedding day. So many design opportunities! We decided on a seaglass theme because he proposed out on this little spot of beach that had become very special to us over the years at Sandy Hook in Sea Bright, New Jersey while we were looking for seaglass. I also loved the idea of seaglass as a theme because of the beautiful blues and greens we could use as well as the unique shapes to play with.

I got to design overprinted letterpress invitations and create several other pieces that reflected our personalities like escort cards that were bookmarks, our program, and the labels for our wine bottles that would act as our table markers (that were filled with messages…in a bottle). I even made my own wedding website, complete with timelines of our relationship (I couldn’t help myself.) And I created all the hand lettering for our chalkboards for the ceremony & reception. I had so much fun bringing our wedding to life that I would love to help others do the same through print pieces, color schemes, hand lettering, and more!
